The University of California developed the Transcript Evaluation Service (TES) to support counselors' and administrators' attempts to improve student achievement and remove barriers to accessing a post-secondary education. TES is a counseling/educational tool, school/course improvement resource and accountability/research informational source for teachers, counselors, principals, district officials and other educational advocates.
UC collects a nominal fee to cover the costs of delivering the service and to support the university's academic preparation program efforts to guide schools' implementation. The base processing fee is $3.25 per student. Transcripts will not be collected until payment is received. To learn about opportunities for reducing this annual fee, see Frequently Asked Questions.
If you would like more information about TES or want to adopt it in your school or district, fill out the form below and a TES representative will contact you within 72 hours after you submit the form.
