The following timetable shows the standard TES data upload and review periods for an academic year.
Fall semester evaluations
- August (week 3) – February (week 4): Schools upload data; preliminary reports available
- March (week 1) – April (week 2): Evaluator quality control; validated reports available
Spring semester evaluations
- April (week 3) – June (week 4): Schools upload data; preliminary reports available
- July (week 1) – August (week 2): Evaluator quality control; validated reports available
In most cases, preliminary reports will be available within 24 hours of a school's data being uploaded. Preliminary reports display results of the system-generated evaluation of student transcript data and can be accessed by authorized users through the TES customer website until they are replaced by verified reports.
Schools are empowered to improve the accuracy of their automated reviews through actionable reports that recommend focused attention on data in their local information systems. TES allows time for schools to verify or revise data on student records and upload the most current data to the system for evaluation, as noted in the timeline above.
Final verified reports
Final verified reports reflect final grade submissions for the evaluated term and are reviewed by UC-trained evaluators. Fall semester verified reports will be available to schools between the first week of March and the second week of April. Spring semester verified reports will be available between the first week of July and the second week of August.
